Hi,
After 10 years from buying the house(barn) I am eventually getting around to starting doing my patio area or at least digging it out ready!!! I have read most of the info on the website and have actively followed the forums for a while and must say it is a great learning tool.
The paving to be laid is Raj Green Indian sand stone purchased from marshalls eBay shop about 5yrs ago(planning in advance or girlfriend would say I am slow). Will get Tony to do the layout when when i am ready. I have attached a few pics (hopefully) showing the falls etc.
I am putting linear drains in and the fall will be 1/40 toward he wall, away from the house. The dpc levels of the house and outbuilding have kind of dictated what I have done but if anyone can see any thing wrong or advise to do it different please say before it's to late.
On one of the pics it shows the linear drain connecting to a p trap, is it ok to mortar the slight gap. Also the linear drain that will run against the wall, if I try to push it tight against he wall there are gaps from 0 up to 8mm in places due to the unevenness in the reclaimed brick so would it be better to leave a gap approx 10mm and point it with the patio.
Thanks in advance.
Jonathan

What you have done there looks pretty good from here jonathan
a bit of stiff mortar around that joint will do the job or even some silicone sealant
i would keep the channels straight and infill with mortar it would be difficult to butter those ones as they click together but you can try
think pablo mentioned cutting 1 of the nibs off as they are hard to unclip
cheers LLL
