Access soil pipe?

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Hi, i've completed my underground drainage and about to start on the soil stack. I'm just wondering if there's a need (or requirement) for an access pipe near the base of the stack. I ask because the access chamber is less than 2m away so pipe could be accessed from there.

we normally always have an access panel about 300mm up the stack, I know they are expensive but can save you a lot of grief down the line
