Not strictly a drainage question I know, but I think someone might be able to answer this one for me hopefully.
I have a client who wants me to shift the position of their loo in the bathroom. It connects directly into a cast iron soil pipe, I need to cut this pipe cleanly further along the run (inside the house) and then couple onto it in plastic.
My fear is it will shatter if I try to cut it, is there a right way of trying to do this?
Thanks
