I'm in the process of relaying my patio and also block paving the section of driveway in front of my workshop.
However i think i may have a slight issue with levels on the patio. The patio previously looked like it had very little run off gradient although it never suffered from standing water, however i think that may have more been down to the cracked and missing pointing and slabs rather than gradient.
So the plan is to relay the patio with some better quality reclaimed sandstone paving as the previous stuff was very thin (~1" thick) and a lot of it had stared to de-laminate.
I have been looking at the ACO brickslot drainage channels as i think its slimline design fitted up against the wall of the house will be alot more inkeeping with the house (c1800) rather than some standard ACO drainage across the middle of the patio.

one slight issue i see with this is that presently there are 2 drains against the house wall, one takes the water from the kitchen sink/washing machine/dishwasher and the other takes the rainwater from the guttering. Both these feed into some underground waste pipework.
would it be acceptable to fit a couple of corner units where the current drains are and have the guttering/outlet pipe feed into those and then fit a P bend under the channel and mate it up to the existing drainage.
I've included a few photos which might help illustrate the issue
cheers
