I've got some ACO drainage channel to go infront of my workshop. I've also got a sump unit to connect it to, however i've found the outlet piece you attach to the bottom of the aco channel which i assume would push into the sump unit to be a very poor/tight fit.

Am i missing something here? am i supposed to use some intermidary connecting pipe?

Its just when you push the connector in it doesn't really want to sit straight and the sump falls off bottom of it very easily.

Cheers

It doesn't matter because when it's in the gound it's not going anywhere. Install the pot to the correct height then place everything on top and surround with concrete/screed.

I have used a different one where it was like a metre long by 400 mm deep aco with an outlet half way down it
but yes it does not seem that tight a fit
