recently i have noticed a few paving contractors, landscapers in my area installing drives, no porous materials being used and the and fall gradient of the flags steeply towards the highway! are paving contractors ignoring the law or have they had planning permission??? out of 4 recent jobs i have noticed not 1 uses a suds!
is it ok to go ahead and get my drive paved without paying for pp and expensive porous systems?

why not ask the contractor, or customer if they have pp. the customer may not know the law.? It might pay dividends to place a drain before the public highway.

im pretty sure this is still very common practice, ive read forum users here stating they are still doing the same thing. stay within the law and its guidelines and you cant go wrong.
has anyone heard of planning for a driveway to be turned down? weve not had an issue to date. probably fail on the next one now
