Property a has put A combined foul and rainwater drain (brown line) across property B's drive way. I need to know where man holes should be, pipe depth , all the spec and regs on an installation like this one.
also , might be the wrong place to ask but here goes, property A has access rights along this drive , no co ownership just access rights to cross over from the road to their property.
What are the legal requirements they have to abide by to lay this pipe? obviously they would need permission from the owner of the driveway but what amendments to deeds etc would they have to do? and is the onus on them to repair any faults that should occur to this pipe?
this is the drive.

all foul runs should be 1:40
any time the pipe changes direction you should have an IC
the invert level of the sewer you are connecting to determines the height of the run
if it is very deep sometimes you can do a roddable tumble
the pipes should surrounded by 100mm of 10mm pea shingle, then layers of type 1 built up 100mm at a time and compacted
the legal side of it i dont know
be nice to your neighbour

i dont have a problem with my neighbour , he comes across as being a nice enough guy ,i just needed to know what was down there and if it is suitable to be under a drive like this, it doesn't see any heavy traffic although it has seen the odd skip lorry.
the thing is there has been talk of paving it and to be honest i like the more rustic look of it at present so i am just wondering if the soil pipe is going to be sound down there.

bert you will need to get the invert level off the channel of the manhole you are heading for, to determine depth. If you are draining from a toilet you can go 1/80. You need 400 cover to crown of pipe, otherwise the pipes will need to be surrounded in concrete. Would think you have right of passage and agree to replace any damage to drive, or pipework. As lll says: ''talk to your neighbour.''

i have been talking to him , the problem is he thinks that because he has a sewer pipe running through the drive and because the old lady who lived here before me allowed him to do it , he now thinks that a part of the drive way belongs to him.
its a strange claim to make because my deeds and land searches say nothing about this yet he says his deeds do.
the agreement i have on my deeds say he owns the pipe and is responsible for it and any damage caused by it , so i am trying to find out as much info on this as i can.
