Hi guys been having problem with soakaway apperaing to be blocked.

I have cleared the soakaway pipe and confirm that it isnt blocked anymore but the soakaway still isnt draining.

When I dug into the soakaway I came across a salt-glazed land water drain pipe that appeared to be at a funny angle at the join. It appears to be leaking slightly.

Is it possible to repair the pipe? I know ideally it needs excavating and replacing but can it be repaired? If so where can I get the tarred rope for the pipe. Cant find it anywhere.

if the soakaway is not draining, and hence will need replacing, why worry about repair the pipe just replace at the same time as the soakaway

those were the days we used the yarn in the coller then some one and one mix pushed in after the yarn and smoothed round . You will need a band seal, or supersleeve to hepsleeve stepped coupling/coller. Maybe some sika used with cement will'seal it also.
