We have just completed a house extension.
The property has a combined drainage system. All of the existing drainage is at the rear of the property which we cannot get access due to an existing kitchen extension.
As we have a down pipe to the front of the property where can we drain it to? We cannot use a soakaway due to clay soil.
The existing drive slopes towards the road so it is running at the moment onto this.
The building inspector also has no ideas to help.
The existing rainwater from the front of property runs onto driveway.

many thanks

your building inspector should know better than this, you will probably need a soakaway with any excess running onto the street
where does the Rain water go to at present?

Ask the BCO about planning permission to discharge over the surface onto the street.
