Bio Gas digesters.
1. Has anyone heard of, or is it part of the system, that the outlet drains from IC should be higher than the inlets ????
(I don't think so, it's a cock up with the installer)
2. Can these things run from septic tanks???? or from a mains water flushing toilet system.
(I understand that the sh...ugar goes directly in)
I've not come accross these before, but have done so now and there are problems. so Tony said ask Joe.

Nope not had the pleasure of poking around in one of these yet, i would contact Kingspan, they pretty much make or have bought out most tank manufacturers in the Uk including Klargester and their tech guys are pretty good.
Not sure about quantities required for them to be affective and how it would work off a tank/treatment plant.

I think these must read the plans upside down inside out, thats if plans are supplied anyway.
The guy who did said he worked on world bank projects and is a big name in Biogas.
He put this plant in about 8 years ago, in a hosptial, I learnt the other day people in the Kitchen wont use the gas because it sells differently, and they might catch some thing.
I told them to offer it for free, everyone broguht their bottles.
Bye the way I'm not in the UK anymore, I now live in warmer climates Africa.

That sounds ok to me. You have 2 outlets in this form of tank. Top outlet releases the gas and the lower is for the liquid waste. The gas can then be used and the waste makes a good minure
