ok boys the two houses above our farm feed into an old 3'x3'x6' deep brick chamber, connected to a secondary chamber for the liquids.
its about 100 years old and not working, raw sewage running out of the top of it and down the field.
so quick bit of history the old couple who owned the big house (5 bed, 3 bath) had a small cottage built in the garden (4 bed 2 bath) connected into the existing house cess pit. sold the big house and moved into the cottage.
so they own the land with the cess pit now but the big house is the main contributor to its contents. i emtied it about 13 months ago with slurry tanker of tractor but in need replacing with a more efficient system.
been on the phone to klargester and hopefully sending a man out to discuss the option but my question anyone used the reed bed systems to discharge from the bio plants as the discharge from this would be very close to a water course/bog.
plus if i install a new bio treatment plant, they'll have to share power costs etc and rights of access??
