Hi,

Just a quick question. I have been looking around for a geotextile to use in a french drain. I have found terram 700 to be quite expensive (Â£200 cheapest for 4.5m x 100m). Would this geotextile below be ok to use?

Also, what is needle punched geotextile, and do I want that?

Looks good enough to me mate, ive used Terram bought from ebay for Â£30 ish for 100mtr delivered. All the fabric does is keep the soil etc from mixing with the pea gravel and keep the drain free flowing.

we use multitrack which i am told is the same spec around Â£60 for 100 by 4.5m
