Rainwater from my neighbour's shed is draining through the bottom of my lean-to. The base of that lean-to is already level with the blue bricks of the damp course (although there is an injected damp course above this line). I want to get the lean-to dry so that I can put our guinea pigs in there for the winter :D . We were considering digging up the shed base as I think it's a bit high and replacing it with a paved area, but obviously the water problem needs solving. What's my best (read also simplest, limited DIY experience, and above all cheap) solution?

is your lean to next to the boudary??
rainwater from your neighbours property should not discharge onto your land
alternatively cannot the down pipe be re-routed away from your lean to?
plastic downpipe and 2 -3 brackets is cheap as chips as they say

The leanto is between our house and our shed. The sheds are sort of semi-detached too IYSWIM!
I thought that was the case about the rainwater, but it is an ex-authority house and I think the drainage might be shared. The sheds have a poper pitched and tiled roof. On one side both gutters run into a downpipe on the neighbour's side, but on the other side there is no downpipe at all. I think it might have been moved in the past to make way for said leanto! Should the downpipe (if we replace it) drain into something or can I just let the water run away?
Any ideas on the concrete/DPC level?:D

Back again.
I just had a look and there is a downpipe on his side, but the is nowhere for it to drain to - apart from our way.
We don't want to fall out with our neighbour over this, but he is unlikely to do anything about it unless forced. It wouldn't be impossible to put in a shallow drain to link up with our kitchen waste. Would this be the best option? My husband isn't that great at DIY and I'm only a girl!
And if we were going to all this effort, might it be best to replace the base anyway?
