Can anyone tell me if benching of plastic preformed inspection chambers is acceptable as iam getting a build up of waste on the unused connections opposite where my soil discharges. I have checked and all seems to be level .
Thanks

benching not accerable it wold cause all sorts of problems
when it breaks up. is the lower channel maintaining the flow?
have you had problems with back up because of it? this may sound daft but is it the right way round?

Thanks for your reply , yes it is the right way round it must just be the speed at which the waste is entering the chamber, but the used inlets and the main channel are remaining clear so do i need worry ?

most blank fittings fill with solids over a period of time. as long as the flow continues theres no cause for concern. if it gives you peace of mind just inspect it now and again.
you should see some of the manholes i connect into and they still flow.

yes this seems to be the case with most manholes theres always various colours of bog roll etc stuck to the sides.where possible the real foul pipe (i.e. the scheisser) should come through the main gulley of a plastic manhole and not the side inlets.
BC like it this way. and let the washing machine ,shower etc come in the sides
hope this helps
