Hi ,
first of all thanks for a great site ive had so much help just reading the info youve taken the time to share. thankyou.
NOw laying a drive in weymouth and found that the drains were solid blocked under a concrete pad by the house so me thinks that over the years the water from the front of the house has soaked into the clay whitch is now well rotten and soft... the mini digger got bogged down and it was 0nly a 3/4 tonne one..the clay smells and is black and green it covers an area about 8 m long and 4 wide its about 10 inches deep untill i hit some kind of pebble beach... i want to pave the lot but dont know what to do as i dont want to leave them with a spongecake drive ... any help would be a god send . jode
Very very wet green and black clay - Should i dig it out?
