Advice please. Linear drain across garage area, with blocked driveway sloping toward garage. What is the acceptable practice, 1)tying it into the storm drainage or 2) as builder has done, punching out the lower apertures and letting the contents seep into the soil below?

I reckon you know the answer really, and are just teasing us, or trying to catch us out! I reckon the correct answer is 1.

Aw come on Tony… The “builder� has done him a favour. Depending on the sub-soil; when it rains he will either have a nice paddling pool in the garage for the kiddies or (eventually) the garage will collapse into a muddy hole and create a trendy water feature
