hello, wonder if someone can help me.
have tree roots in cellar, have a privet hedge and tree in front of property. tree belongs to council. who say i have to prove the roots belong to their tree, before they will do anything about it.
any ideas where i can get roots tested cheaply.
house insurance will not help saying this is not covered.

Try the high hedges website http://freespace.virgin.net/clare.h/index.htm#MAIN

I seem to recall there was a mention on there of a system of DNA testing of tree roots.
