Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

i have a garden with aprox 8 inch top soil, clay underneath.i am having real problems with drainage, have already dug a three foot trench and four and half foot soak away pit,. have not closed them in yet as they have filled up with water help the water does not seem to be draining away!!!!
