Hi,
I'm just in the process of panning a new patio and multi leveling the garden but am having some problems coming up with a solution to some dranage issues.
I've got a small garden that slopes towards the house and currently when it rains the patio floods right up to the house. I was thinking about putting a soak away in but theres no way I'll be able to get one anywhere near 5 meters away from the house and can't think of a way around this.
The new patio I'm planning will only be around 3 meters deep sloping away from the house. This will mean that the patio will flood at the point where the new retaining wall and the patio meet instead of by the house.
I have no drainage systems that I can link to (apart from by the house where I will now be taking water away from and will be at a higher point to the level where the patio will meet the new retaining wall) - Is there any other way of getting rid of the excess water which will collect?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
