We live on a hill and there are quiet a few springs around the neighbourhood. A new one has appeared on the grass verge just in front of my house and it's leaking out over the road causing a little stream diagonally across the road. The water board assure us that it's "not theirs".
There is a foul drain close by but this is at a lower level than the spring.
Would we be allowed to drain the spring into the foul drain? I have some vague idea that there are regulations about this kind of thing!
