I have a soil pipe going from downstairs cloakroom up to first floor and through a flat roof. Whilst the upstairs does not matter as it goes through a box room, I would like it moved to the corner of the cloakroom so I can box it in. Can I put a bend under the upstairs floor so it comes down into the corner of the room downsairs, or does it have to be a straight pipe?

If it is not serving any appliances higher up you have a couple of options - you could put an air-entry valve on a short stub of pipe, or you could go into a thinner pipe for the vent section. Either way you can wiggle it all you want as long as it still vents.

It is actually serving a bathroom upstairs. Toilet shower and wash basin. Does this mean I can't put a bend in?
Thanks
