Block paving - What type ?

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

Hi - Wonder if you can help me...my driveway has currently tar on, I am just about to dig up and replace with block paving - the length of the driveway is approx 2.5 carlengths (small hatchback type) long and the guttering that runs along the front of the garage with the downpipe going into a drain which is under ground....my first question is - Can I put in some sort of drain half way down the drive way to capture any excess water (when washing the car - heavy rain downfalls etc) ?
My second question is : the driveway slopes towards the garage - can I install a line drain outide the garage, if so I presume this would attach to the drain outside the garage how would this attach ?
