Has anyone installed the above, if so what do you think?

Ive got to do a spec for a car park and I am thinking of using it. 52 lm

Is it good at its job?
Is it easy to clean via rodding and jetting?
Is it cheaper than installing 52 lm road kerb , 3 road gullies and a silt trap?

Is there any downsides???

These are great products as long as they are maintained. All too often they are allowed to silt up and they cease to function, which is bloody annoying as access covers are readily available and they are a doddle to clean out. However, as most installations are on public highways, the local authority overlook this essential maintenance until there is a claim against them because someone's had an accident.

I've not done a costing for 52 lin metres, but I'd be fairly certain that it would work out cheaper than using 3 gullies (and associated pipework). Also, have a look at some of the alternatives, such as those from Aco and Charcon, as they can sometimes be cheaper in smaller quantities than the genuine Beany blocks.

There's no one product I would recommend in preference to the others on such a relatively small job. I'd get prices for whatevers available, look into stock levels, lead time for delivery, accessories and fittings, and, most importantly, price, and then make a decision.
