Could you help me out with my... - Ic network analysis!

Newbie to the messageboard, but I'm hoping you can help me out with the following task:

My Project Management tutor has assigned individual projects to our class, mine involves drawing up a network analysis diagram for the installation of an Inspection Chamber. Although coming up with the list of activities was o.k. i was wondering whether you could help out with the durations (in hours) of the activities.

So here goes:


Construction
Removal of top-soil
Assembly of chamber according to supplier's instructions
Expostion of length of pipe to be replaced by proposed access chamber
Removal of relevant section of pipe with power-saw (if pipe is already present)
Removal of 100mm of bedding
Formation of concrete bed
Formation of rockers
Greasing cut pipe ends with lubricant
Rockers slid onto cut ends of pipes
Introduction of inspection chamber
Alignment with existing pipework onto concrete bed
Greasing inspection chamber connections
Rockers slid onto access chamber connections in-built coupling
Welding with new pipework

Testing
Air test according to BS EN 1610:1998
Water test (if leakage occurs in ..)

Road repair
Backfilling of trench in 200mm layers, each levelled and compacted
Cover fitting according to supplier's recommendations
Repairing road

I don't do coursework (there's nowt in it for me) but what you have outlined above could take anything from a couple of hours to a couple of days, all depending on the size of IC, the depth of the chamber, the access to and location of the site, the competence and experience of the workforce and, of course, the weather.

During the summer, Ken Culshaw of KGC Paving and meself installed a siimple IC involving more or less all the stages you've identified in around 2 hours. It was only a 225mm dia IC, and only 600mm deep. Obviously, if you're installing a 1200mm dia IC to a depth of 3 metres, it's going to take a bit longer.
