Sorry if this is a bit off topic..
I had a new conctrete slab (garage floor) poured 2 months ago.
I am wondering how long I need to wait for it to cure before I can paint it?
Looking at various tins in B&Q and online I see anything from a month to a year.
Obviously the longer the better, but I could do with moving stuff onto it so would like to paint first.
Slab is 150mm
Any other advice greatly appreciated!

Paint manufacturers guideline... always follow theem as if owt goes wrong I've adhered to the manufacturer's instructions to the letter.. They'll only winge thatit wasn't left long enough elseTony McC wrote:48? Do you mean 28? That's the normal 'cure period' for new concrete.
The floor should be etched with acid before applying any form of paint. This removes any laitence and ensures a sound bond.
