Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic..

I had a new conctrete slab (garage floor) poured 2 months ago.
I am wondering how long I need to wait for it to cure before I can paint it?

Looking at various tins in B&Q and online I see anything from a month to a year.
Obviously the longer the better, but I could do with moving stuff onto it so would like to paint first.

Slab is 150mm

Any other advice greatly appreciated!

Floor paint in my experience never works/sticks/stays.

Resin floor paint FTW!

there are many paints which will do the trick, but most stipolate ate least 48 days before application. Bradite make a good heavy layered paint for this and have full range of colours too:)

48? Do you mean 28? That's the normal 'cure period' for new concrete.

The floor should be etched with acid before applying any form of paint. This removes any laitence and ensures a sound bond.
