Hello,
Sorry for the delayed reply - I don't receive an email to say a reply has been made so I have just checked in to see if people could see the photos & apologise for not putting a later set on yet.

Tony, please use the photos as you wish, and there's no need to credit me etc. I'm glad if they can be of use.
It is worth noting that the paving is old so maybe that has helped its appearance - also see my caution below if letting the ACV sit for a prolonged period. (The results you have seen were after scrubbing for 5-7minutes and then rinsing off).

Scaffolding was up for about 10 days, and we had a lot of rain in the middle of that. I should have learnt by now with all the problems we've had with work on this house but nevertheless I trusted the roofer and his choice of scaffolder. When I asked afterwards he said he'd never known it before - I don't believe him.

Latest status: No photos yet but most of the definition has gone from the stains. I will follow up.
I suspect I have speeded up the process. Because the blocks are old and already have non-uniform colouring I let the ACV sit on the blocks for ~30mins. This has led to some localised staining (cleaning?) but it doesn't look too bad and will blend in over time and when I clean with a moss / algae killer in the new year. Therefore I would not recommend leaving the ACV for a prolonged length of time on new blocks etc.

As promised, here's a new link with the stains as they are now.
You will see the staining is much reduced so I will have another go at those some time if they don't fade so it no longer looks like a steel plate

Again please note - I added the ACV to all, worked though them with a scrubbing brush (adding more ACV as needed) and then rinsed off at the end so they all had about 35mins of ACV

BTW, I used some of the Ecoprotec rust remover today on a test/sample area for a client, Excellent product, can highly recommend it.
I had other rust removers with me, just in case it didn't work, but it did the job.

I keep hearing good things about EcoProTec and had the opportunity to chat with the MD of the manufacturer last year - very impressed by his depth of knowledge.

I have an agreement for a well-known and equally knowledgeable supplier/distributor to provide a sepcialist knowledge section for cleaners and sealants (the bane of my life!), which shuld be ready for next Spring, but it would be wonderful if I can find some way to provide a platform for the EcoProTec range - I *do* like to give a nudge to the better-than-average products that possibly don't get the attention they warrant.

Hi Tony, I do have photos of the test clean but at the moment, don't have permission to use them, but if I get the go ahead to do the stain removal (over 200 sq mts Corten Steel staining !!!) on brand new Yorkstone, I'll let you have some that you can use, and type you up a short report if you want?, I must also dig out the grass fertiliser stain removal photos as well for you.
