Raised beds - What to use on kandla grey patio

Hi, thanks for letting me join. We have just had a Kandla Grey patio laid and I would like to add some raised borders. Could I use Kandla grey ? I thought the 600 x 300 would be a useful size. Would I need to line the raised border to stop water ingress ? Would another type of paving be better and more suitable ? TIA

The concrete haunch would act as a sort-of "liner" for such a scheme, but, if you wanted, it could all be lined with a damp proof membrane....but be wary of denying adequate drainage to the soil.
