Hi,
My current drive way and paths are thick concrete laid in the 1960s and I'm looking to lay paving slabs with a full motor bed directly on this concrete. If the base is stable and the motor bed supports the whole flagstone could i use 24mm the slabs (promenade, sandstone, calibrated)?
I don't really have the money or time to remove the concrete as it's a big area. Equally I realise driveway flagstones are usually thicker and I don't want to waste my time.
Does anyone have good experiences of laying thinner flagstones for driveways on concrete?
