got about 30m2 of Kandla grey to lay this week and the temps going to drop.
will it be ok if i keep it covered also should i add a frost proofer to the laying course?
also whats the best 2 part jointing compound to use when its cold?

Cover with straw and/or hessian for first 48 hours.

Use a frostproofer sparingly in the bedding mortar

The good 2-part resin mortars all need 3°C and rising as a minimum, but the jointing can wait until we have a couple of warmer days, if necessary. THe VDW 850+ is, IMHO, the best 2-part mortar on the market just now - Read More - and by quite some way!

just checked weather and we will be hovering around 6C so might be ok?
