Hi, I’m looking at laying my new limestone slabs but was wondering if I need sbr. I’m planning on a semi wet mix so do I add it to the mix or straight to the slab ....???
Thanks

Most limestones have a reasonable water absorption rate and that means they usually have no trouble adhering to a good mortar bed. Therefore there's no real need for SBR, either as a primer or in the bedding mortar, but if you wanted to use it, it would do no harm.....as long as you maintain meticulous cleanliness during installation.
