Bedding flags on mortar

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Hi everyone, just looking for some advice with bedding some slabs on mortar.
I have worked out with the calculator that to bed 15sqm on slabs that I will need 1.1 T of sand and 5 bags of cement ...
What I wasn't sure of was the thickness of the bed of mortar that I will be laying.

Any help much appreciated.
