Good Morning All

Done a lot of reading lately off here, and Im beggining to re-do my front garden, so far I mostly levelled it all and installed a new 3ft concrete and vertical lap fence all the way around.

I have attached a few pics of what I intend to do here:-

this weekend I intend to dig out roughly 70-80mm so that I then fit some 125mm everedge edging so I can bring the levels back up, but still be below 150mm from the DPC on the house.
I intend to lay some form of membrane between the sub grade and the sub base

I attached a pic of how I think the levels will be done. is this correct?

I am going to do most of the work like digging out, installing the edging, and filling with mot and wacking etc and will get a pro in to do the final paving more than likely.

any tips/pointers etc before I start?
any info appreciated!

75mm is the absolute bare minimum for a sub-base of DTp1. You;d be so much better off with 100mm.

Grass will struggle to grow on sand and sub-base.....unless you mean it will be placky grass, of course!
