After lots of research, I finally decided on laying porcelain slabs in my back garden - a contemporary look and low in maintenance. I ordered them myself, they arrived - 20mm thick and looked lovely. I had a patio laying company lined up, but it was clear they didn't know what they were doing. I changed the team and sent across loads of videos plus advice from this website on how best to lay them. It's not a great job, spacing is irregular but I'm kind of committed. They finally did the jointing today which was a grey powder resin that was brushed in. While the slabs are a pale grey, there's a darker grey patchiness all along either side of the joints. Is this normal and will it go once the slabs are all washed down?
