Hi all.. new to this so hello. My name is Joe. Just spent the last 3 weeks of my annual leave doing our garden patio. Approx 40 sqm. All laid and looking lovely until ....
Applied some polyurethane based sealer and I'm worried I've ruined it. It's gone too dark and shiny for our liking .. I did a trial on an offcut but it looks alot darker and glossy looking than the trial piece looked.
My question is.... is there a way of completely removing the sealer so I can start again.
Here's to praying I haven't just wasted the last 3 weeks of my holidays.

Oh dear indeed LLL
Joe this can be removed, polyurethane is one of the messiest and worst sealers to remove though, as for the products needed, you as a home-owner etc might not be able to get hold of them, as they have DCM in them. Where about in the UK are you? as I might know someone in your area?
Word of warning though, this work isn't cheap

Okay so not a million miles away from Birmingham, do a google search for this company, Tiling Logistics, (B/ham) based, speak to either Kevin or Tony Martin, they have teams or will know someone that covers your area and would be able to remove the Thompsons sealer and re-seal the stone with the correct sealer.
