Hi.
Not sure if this is a common issue but I've just built a small step for my new patio, stepped onto it 24 hrs later and one of the slabs wobbled. Check the others and none have stuck to the mortar, though the mortar itself has set rock-hard.
Any pointers as to what might've gone wrong? I used a mix of 5-1 building sand and cement.
Do I have to take all the old mortar up and start again (it's on top of a single course of bricks) or is there some magic gloop I can chuck down to adhere the slabs?
Thanks,
James
