Hi all, this is a question about my own patio.
Last week we had a teak table/chairs delivered by cyan.co.uk the table had minimal construction stretchers etc. which the company did.
On completion I noticed a small chip on the side of the table, the delivery idiot said ' no problem I can fix now' he proceeded to scarf a small piece in & stick it with superglue. He had already mentioned the word superglue to his mate earlier. He put the pot of glue, without a lid on, down on my Black limestone slabs. Before I could say don't leave it there it was upside down.
I went mad with him was told ' no panic it's only superglue' f***ing idiot.
I flooded the area with water, as he tried to rub it away, then poured white spirit over. No good. I then noticed another area that had been rubbed in, so he had already done it once without me noticing & probs would not of told me about it either until I saw it.
I have since tried pressure washing, scrubbing with patio cleaner, Brick acid & lastly spraving with Acetone. All no good as it is a porous stone.
Has anybody ever had anything like this happen & any advice on what else to try?
Am in dispute with the company cyan.co.uk atm & am now thinking maybe have to lift the M2 of damaged slabs.
Cheers all
Neil
