I am in the process of getting an Indian Sandstone patio laid. The majority of the patio was laid last Friday and my wife and I noticed that a number of slabs (20% of total laid) have not stuck. Our fitter says the work is fine and that we must have pulled the slabs up (which we didn't) as they are laid on a full bed of mortar. From the photos you can clearly see they are not on a full bed of mortar (please correct me if I am wrong) the corners are not supported and a lot of the slabs sound hollow underneath. Do I tell the guy to jog on or give him a chance to finish the job?
