Hi, back a the Brew Cabin for the first time since 2005 (when I laid my first patio, an Indian Sandstone variety). Hope everybody is well!

I'm now in a new house and currently laying a porcelain patio with a 5mm joint. It is a very modern look and I'm researching jointing compounds (or other suggestions) that are suitable for this patio.

I've looked at Geo Fix, but when I rang them they said their product was untested on Porcelain. Bradstone do their own but it is very expensive so ideally I'd like something a bit more reasonably priced.

Any advice, any special type of compound needed or is a good quality flexible jointing compound all I need?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks LLL for some reason I'd missed that page on ceramics/porcelain. I was hoping to not have to manually grout 80m2 of 5mm gaps, but if I have to then I will do.

Any brand names or examples of "Hi spec 2 part resin mortar" available to general public? I'll do some googling when I get a break and hopefully find something.

Edit: Since I posted Ive found http://www.pavingexpert.com/jointing08.htm

This looks like a contender: http://www.nexusprosystems.co.uk/products/porcelain-grout

There is no spec sheet however, so I've emailed the company for more information. I continue to research other 1 and 2 part solutions.

I like the 815 and it is a lot quicker to install than grout, but its all about choice and finish
