Hi, thanks in advance for any advice you can share.
I’m about to lay a patio in my garden and need some advice about the sub base. The sub soil is already very solid (dense stones/ pebbles). I’d like to know if I can use the soil that has been dug out rather than type 1? I’ve attached some pictures to show the quality, but I’m hoping I can use this.
The plan is to lay slate slabs
