Granite discolouration - Is this normal for granite?

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Hi All,

Last summer I laid 135sq.m of granite paving slabs following the guides on the main page i.e. full morter bed and SBR slurry mix on the face of every slab.

Since last summer, we've started noticing some patches both light and dark. What I'd like to know is if this is normal for granite or should I be complaining to the supplier?
