Hi,
I've been searching like crazy all morning to try and find out what these sort of damp patches are on a new slab paving laid.
I'm sorry, I don't know the technical details or how best to describe so please bear with me. After searching the internet, I thought it could be this 'bed spotting' - but I watched the guys lay it and they didn't do it like that. The used a mix or type 1 and sand, levelled then laid. I'm sure there is a more technical term but I don't know. I asked the landscaper and he said it'll weather in. He has a good reputation hence I'm disappointed in this this appearance. Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance. JC
