I cleaned my patio yesterday and used a karcher jet washer and also tried out briefly the patio cleaner. Everything is cleaned really well as it was just grass stains I was removing as it's quite new

But I think patio cleaned may have damaged it as there are black blobs

Is this just deep water from the patio washer that will dry out or is t damaged ?

That's just what we might generoulsy refer to as "differential cleaning".

You haven't cleaned each part of the paving with equal intensity - some spots are cleaner than others. This is one of the reasons I advocate the use of a rotary head cleaner to equalise the process and help ensure a more regular, even cleaning of each bit.

If you go over it ALL once more, it should help even out the differences.

It worked a charm

I have a second issue, a welcome mat stained the patio brown and the water pressure even with the fluid cleaner did not work at all

I think I did read it will go away naturally after a few days now that I have left it exposed to rain and washed it

Is that true ?

What is the mat made of?

Not sure I chucked it

But it was one of those brown fury welcome home mats that is pretty strong

I think it's colouring that's gone and not even a scrub worked

Furry as in matting? Probably some sort of tree or grass fibre, so a good scrub with hot soapy water should do it.
