Hi, I have had some Indian sandstone slabs laid.
They were laid on a dry 6:1 sharp/cement mix but have not yet been grouted.
I checked this morning before the guys come back to grout and several of them have a slight wobble and if I tap them with a small rubber mallet some of them sound hollow underneath.
Obviously I feel this is a re-lay job but can anyone suggest the easiest way to sort this out?
I am wondering whether to scrape an inch of the screed and put a wet mix down, or even just do a bit more dry mix and relay each slab myself individually with a light scattering underneath to take up the hollows, thoughts anybody? Any advice massively appreciated!
