Following on from my previous posts, the fence is rotten (but stable) in our new house, in one area the patio is next to a fence post.

Fencing guy said needs room to dig out old concrete, so that means moving the slab of the patio...

If we remove the last row of slabs and put gravel down it would be fine, however a we would need to cut two straight lines in two of the remaining slabs keep it straight

Is it possible to cut the symphony with a straight edge once laid?

I wont be attempting this myself, I will get paving installer to do it, just checking if what I propose if feasible or do I need to find other solutions?

Thanks

Yes: they can be cut in-situ, but they really need to use a specialist porcelain blade and cut right through, into the bedding beneath.

That's great I have spoken to another fencing contractor who can work with what we have thankfully. However if needed in the future I know we can cut them

Cheers
