Hello
I've carried out many a patio but I've never done a patio with the Marshalls 20mm porcelain slabs. My question is what cement mix do I make to bed them on? (Can I use sharp sand) and any little things I have to do really as in adhesive. Your answers would be very much appreciated.

Yes to sharp sand and lay on your normal mix, but would recommend a wet mix. You absolutely must use a bond bridge, SBR mixed with cement better still is the Instarmac priming slurry which you can get from Marshalls.
They're a nice product to lay, sizes are precise so keeping a line is easy.

Thank you for your comments, if i go for the instarmac slurry do I still have to put SBR in my mix?
Kind regards

No instarmac is just mixed with water.

Keeping the joint widths uniform is critical to a good-looking finish so look at using a decent spacer and keep the work spotlessly clean as you progress. Wipe, wipe, wipe and wipe again.
