Greetings all, I'm a landscaper based in Hampshire looking to source approx 40m2 Liscannor paving [not crazy] for my own garden. Being a tight git am looking to keep cost down so looking for advice on [UK] suppliers who aren't going to stitch me up on delivery.Would be happy to share costs with any members who are looking to import from Ireland or any advice greatly welcome.
Thanks in advance

We brought some over 10 years or so ago for a specialist supplier in that London. He had an order for about 2/3 of a container, so we arranged for a full container, fulfilled the order, and then the rest was sold off in bits and pieces, predominantly to the Irish community in N. London. However, the price was prohibitive and it didn't sell well enough to convince the stockist to invest in another container load.

There are two quarries providing Liscannor, but plenty of suppliers selling what they claim is Liscannor, but ain't. Sometimes, it's Doolin stone, from just a mile or so away from Liscannor, but millions of years away, geologically; sometimes, it's cheap Chinese black limestone with a heavily riven face.

On the Stone Suppliers page, Andrew at Moher Flagstone is probably best set-up to cater for small orders, but if you have no luck there, Timmy Tuohy at The Natural Stone Yard in Co. Meath (also listed on that page) would be able to sort out a small shipment over to Britain.
