AGHHHHH, oh my giddy aunt! Bought sandstone paving thinking it would be relatively low maintenance compared to decking and I seem to have walked into a myriad of information and sandstone hell! The builder placed the packing box over the laid stones whilst they were going off and some terrible staining has occured (it rained during this period) Looks like ink for some reason, plus there must have been metal swarf on the stones as there are rust marks now all over some of them!!! FFS, what a mare! Is there any way to clean this off? And what product can be used to impregnate them to deepen the colour before sealing? (These things are very light and take stains ridiculously easily!) Would linseed oil work as I used it to great success on terracota tiles last year...Many thanks for any help given.
wtf?

Have you got any piccys? When trying a cleaning poroduct you're unsure of, always try it on an offcut, or a tiny patch in the corener where no one will see incase it doesn't have the desired effect

Our impregnator seals the stone as well as enhancing it http://www.azpects.co.uk/product....er.aspx

Make sure you've thoroughly sorted all the issues before sealing though
