REPOINTING A SLABBED PATIO
1)Slabs are of various sizes & do not have straight sides - they have wavy edges.
2)Jointing has cracked in quite a few places
Joints vary in width - 1/4" up to over 1/2" due to the wavy edges
3)the slabs were laid on an existing crazy paved area.
4)there seems to be some voids under some of the slabs
Do I need to try & fill these voids?
If so - how?
5)can you suggest the easiest way to do repointing & do I need to do anything about the voids under the slabs?
Can I use some form of dry mortar?
Thanks
