Is it possible to hasten the removal of GftK 800 resin on Indian sandstone, I was told to expect some residue and that it would weather and return to its original state after 6/8 weeks. I'm not entirely sure less well used areas will naturally clean up.
May I add it's the first time i've used an epoxy jointing compound.

I've had success using Lithofin Resin Ex and also Xylene to remove Epoxy Resin from Sandstone also heard Mirastrip works, UV rays and foot traffic certainly speed up the process however I have seen cases in shaded less used areas where the resin has remianed on the slab after a couple of years.

Have decided the client can reach his own decision, patio after 3 days is already starting top return to it's prior condition, all I have done is to inform him of his options in the future, but I know he's happy and realises it will take time.
Thanks all for your help.

The usual recommendation to remove excess residue with GftK 2-part mortars is the delightfully named "Cracker" available from NCC (who supply the GftK), but, in emergency, Nitromors does almost as well.
I've been using the GftK mortars on all sorts of projects and trials since before they were actually on sale in Britain, and never had a single incident of excess residue or a surface film that didn't weather off after a month, but then, I'm a stickler for following the installation guidance and using lots and lots and lots of water, before, during and after installation.
