Hi Gents,

Last year i laid a kota yellow limestone patio for a customer, the product itself was natural paving's tuscan (i think).

He has recently got in touch to ask about giving his patio the "wet" look. Initially i thought he wanted a gloss sealer but after a chat it turns out that a colour enhancer would be better, he wants it the colour it is after it has rained.

Ive been looking at Tony Mc's pages on sealing, and by reading that it suggests that weiss ft plus is the stuff to get? This is an impregnator right?

Do you then add a sealer over the top of that or not?

I have read the main site, and done a search but i just want to be sure, he is adamant he wants it doing, I've swerved the job twice now and if anyone is going to be putting anything on that patio it is going to be me!

Dan.

For an impregnating colour enhancing sealer I use this one, not cheap but very good,

You also have Dry Treat, Lithofin MN Stain Stop Plus, all good impregnating colour enhancing sealers.

Also Dan, if you have a look at one of my web pages, photos of Jerusalem Gold Limestone sealed.

It should only be one coat, just watch how it's soaking in, as you might need to 2 coat, wet on wet f the stone is really soaking the sealer up quickly, as you don't what it to dry patchy etc.
